Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 14, 2026
CreateBox follows data minimisation. Image compression, video compression, A/B creative versions, image-to-PDF and works management happen on-device. Only when you affirmatively consent to and use AI video dubbing are extracted audio or reviewed text sent to iFlytek. The full video is not uploaded.
1. Scope
This policy applies to the CreateBox Android app provided by LXStudio. The current release does not require an account, includes no advertising SDK, and does not build advertising profiles. Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics help us understand feature use and stability issues. We do not intentionally send your media content, file names, file paths, recognised text, or dubbing text through those services.
2. Features and data handling
| Feature | What is processed and where |
|---|---|
| Image compression, video compression, image-to-PDF | The media and settings you actively choose are processed on your device only. |
| A/B creative versions | The video, version name, opening title, ending call to action and visible labels you choose are re-encoded on your device only. |
| Local works management | Generated files, thumbnails, names, size, duration and saving status are stored in the app's private directory for preview, management and export. |
| AI speech recognition | After separate consent, audio extracted from the selected video is sent to iFlytek to transcribe Mandarin speech. The full video is not uploaded. |
| AI speech synthesis | After separate consent, the dubbing text you review or edit and your chosen voice are sent to iFlytek to create dubbed audio. |
| Authorisation and diagnostics | Under its own rules, the iFlytek SDK may process IP address, Android ID, OAID, device information and call logs for authorisation, billing and troubleshooting. |
3. Permissions and media access
You actively choose images and videos through the Android system media picker. The app does not request broad permission to read your whole photo or video library. When exporting a work, only a file that you explicitly choose to save is written to the system media library. The app does not request location, contacts, SMS, call logs, or microphone permission.
4. Third parties and international transfers
AI speech services are provided by iFlytek. When you choose to use AI video dubbing, the audio, text, device identifiers and logs described above may be transmitted to iFlytek and may be processed in mainland China. Declining AI consent does not affect local tools. Firebase is provided by Google and may process app interactions, coarse ranges of media quantity, size, duration and processing time, device and app version information, IP address and diagnostics for analytics and stability improvement, not ad targeting.
See our third-party SDK disclosure and the providers' official policies.
5. Retention, deletion and your choices
You can delete in-app works from the Works screen, clear app data in Android settings, or uninstall the app. Files saved to the system media library are managed by you through your gallery or file manager; deleting an in-app copy does not delete an exported gallery file. CreateBox has no account system. You may withdraw AI speech-processing consent from the Profile screen, which stops future calls.
6. Contact
For privacy, deletion, or other support requests, email msfc136@163.com. Please do not send original private videos, identity documents, passwords, or API keys by email.
